love

i guess i kinda wound myself up in gay equality. i noticed, seems like some churches dont like gays.in fact i could name at least 10 people off my head at our church who hates gays. the bible says to love everybody. including gays. in fact i used to have a gay friend (she was a friend of my friend). i had no idea she was gay when i first me her. she was really nice to me. later, i find out she was gay and she had colon cancer. she died a few months later. i also found out she was trying to find a church but no church would allow her since she was gay. is that a way to lead someone to christ? i think that gays dont choose to be gay, its a handicap in my opinion. they dont choose to be gay because if they could choose im sure they wouldnt be gay.i visited a message board for homosexuals(i never became a member cuz i felt i didnt belong there).i noticed, they r very loving towards eachother and have a community there. much more loving then our church message board.
some people say things like "i hate racists". i cant help but think, if u hate a racist u r no worse then him.god says to love EVERYBODY wether its hitler, gays, muslims.KKK,blacks, whites, atheists, goths EVERYBODY. god didnt have a list of groups to exclude, he said to love everybody. so why arent some christians doing so? do they not understand the bible completely?

PS: in case u r wondering, im not a homo!!!! just because i love homos doesnt make me one. so dont even think about asking.

PPS: i know i have a lot of entries today. i am just making up for the days i missed.

Kelly, my name is Jeff, and I am a born again christian. You know what, it is wrong to hate anybody. I've been around a good while, and I really feel that those who are truly born again christians love gay people. But there is a difference between loving the person and condoning the lifestyle. The bible is clear on the gay issue. It is sin, just as adultery or stealing or hatred are sin. The problem comes in when someone wants to redefine what God has already said. Does Jesus love the homosexual? Yes. And He died for the sin of homosexuality. Just as He loved me enough to take me out of my sin, He wants to do the same for any bound in homosexuality. You said that you don't think anyone chooses that life. Some do, but many don't. But they weren't born that way either. Somethings may have happened that gave them their tendencies. But I know what the Bible says. God bless.

i dont condone their lifestyle. i never said i did. i said i think we should love them no matter what lifestyle they choose.u cant choose someones lifestyle but u can love them no matter what they choose.i dont think gays choose to be attracted to the same sex but i do think they choose to live their life the way they do.

Good thoughts Kelly. I know that people divide over the are you born gay or choose it argument, but like you said...it doesn't matter where you fall on that issue, because love is still required!

It is sad that there are people who show hatred instead of love. Bummer. At least you don't have to be one of them. But you can show love to those who are unloving.
